The Poseidon series downrigger is built with the most demanding precision and reliability engineered into all parts. Many years of thought and experience went into every aspect for simplicity and reliability.

For example simply feed your cable or braid into pulley end and it comes out without disassembly. Pulleys are made out of extremely durable Acetal/Delrin for the long life. Pulley end requires a simple hex key tool to maintain in an event you would ever need to. No special tools or fasteners needed.

Precision motor up or down control is with Blue LED backlight IP68 push buttons. It gives the instant ability to control cannon ball movement from several feet to a mere inch if you desire. This is the ultimate control for Lake Trout fishing.

All other motions are mechanical push button operated, high strength stainless steel boom is a simple push button to lower and use. Lift boom without pull pins or mechanism's to access the cannon ball. Included wire/braid tracking pulley that has built in cannon ball hook for easy storage.

Stainless steel spool has high force dual clutch system, both sides of the spool has a clutch that actually works with a simple turn of the control knob. It works so well you can trip the overload breaker on it when you run it against the boom with it over tightened. But no worries, just hit reset and go. Just tighten the clutch enough to lift the weight you are running with ease. No more trying to overtighten because it just keeps slipping.
